New parents guide to baby care

Caring for a newborn child is tough New mothers sometimes worry about their baby’s health more than they need to when they listen to superstitions and conflicting advice. People from previous generations might suggest that you are not supposed to take a little infant outside of the house.

The truth is most all babies need some early morning sunshine to resist the early effects of jaundice. Taking your newborn outside is great,as long as you dress it for the weather. As discussed in the new blog My Baby Care, babies need a healthy dose of outdoor exposure to develop well.
When the baby is several weeks old, you might notice some changes on his skin - that is, his skin may become flaky. This is normal for newborn, therefore there is no need to apply lotions or oils.

“Shall I pick up my baby when she cries or not?” That is a question all new parents ask when they are trying to decide on the best baby care. Many parents feel that a child can become spoiled if you give in to their crying. A brand-new-baby is almost impossible to spoil.

The conventional wisdom of baby care tells us that an infant cries, it is because it needs something, which can range from food to a clean diaper. Denying a newborn the comfort so important to their wellbeing in the first few weeks of life can have a devastating psychological impact later in life.
